Up to now, none of the camera systems were quite up to our standards, but this one ticks all the boxes, having been designed by a fellow WBU store owner who is savvy to both bird feeding and technology. We love that, aside from optional pieces like the hummingbird perch or a mounting pole, the feeder comes with everything you need to get started (i.e., you don't have to buy a memory card, solar panels, wall mount, etc. separately, which is common with other brands). It will fit perfectly on our WBU Advanced Pole System, sold separately, meaning that critter proofing the feeder will be easy.

Because this feeder is not squirrel-proof or raccoon-proof*, we strongly recommend it be mounted on a pole with an appropriately sized baffle to prevent damage by critters. Available in-store or online, an ideal mounting set would include:
• APS 48" Base Pole
• APS Large Stabilizer
• APS 36" Extension Pole
• APS Tube Feeder Flange (threaded adapter)
• 10" diameter Raccoon Baffle (stops raccoons, squirrels, opossums, and chipmunks
    (a 6" diameter baffle is not wide enough to stop larger raccoons)
or • Squirrel Baffle (stops squirrels and chipmunks, but not raccoons or opossums)

Alternatively,Fiery Feast hot pepper seed blend can deter most squirrels and raccoons, but is not as foolproof as a properly placed baffle system.
